Kano businessman-Abdullahi Sanusi Dantata has died in a German hospital, it was learnt last night.

Alhaji Dantata, until his death, was the chairman of Dantata and Sawoe Construction Company. He was an uncle to business mogul Dr. Aliko Dangote.

In a statement last night by the Director of Communication and Strategy in the Kano State Government House, Alhaji Baba Dantiye, Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso said Alhaji Dantata would be sorely missed because of his contribution to the economic development of the nation.

A former classmate of the late the late Dantata, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, said the deceased was “an astute businessman, who made his mark.”
